Here is the review of KNOXX's Legionnaire Fight Shorts. They are a great looking pair of shorts. Read the full review to see if their performance matches their looks.

First Impression- I love the color of these shorts. Everything looked very well done and I could not wait to get them on. They came with a t-shirt which was a nice touch.

Construction- These shorts are very well constructed. Now a days I do not come upon very many shorts that have poor construction, there are just varying degrees of how well they can be constructed. Well these are excellent. There are no loose threads and everything is either double or triple stitched where it should be for added durability. These shorts are made in the USA . One thing I noticed almost instantly is their lack of split seam. Now if you have read my reviews before you know I prefer no spilt seam, but I was a little worried that this might cause some problems with getting a full range of motion? I will get more into that later. They do have stretch panels but they are not really very stretchy like ones from some other companies. These shorts are made up of 100% Polyester. All of the graphics and logo are done very well with them either being embroidered or Sublimated. They have your standard style closure system with a drawstring to tighten everything up. They also like most shorts have a small pocket on the inside of the waistband.

Fit- I got a 32 which fit my waist great. As always I am worried about fitted shorts with no type of rubber piece that keeps them snug to your waist. These shorts do not have any such rubber piece and while there is some shifting it is not near as bad as some other shorts I have tested. These shorts go to right about mid knee level on me and have a very loose feel to them, and the material that they are made of feels very lightweight. I liked that these shorts not only can you train in, but you can also wear them for other sports such as basketball, running, or even just weight lifting. They do not have that mma look to them which I really liked.

Stand Up- I liked these shorts for stand up. Like I mentioned I was a little worried that they were not going to allow me to use my full range of motion, but I was wrong. I had no problems with any sort of technique ranging from head kicks to throwing multiple knees. One thing that I did notice is that these shorts shift a little. Now it was not so much that I had to make constant readjustments but every now and then I did have to short them back to the center of my waist. They did however not ride up in either the legs or the waist, and felt very light and comfortable.

Ground- I feel like these shorts worked better for stand up then they do ground. I am not saying they are bad on the ground at all. However they did shift around my waist more than I like. I have used shorts that are much worse than these, but the amount of shift was still something that I found distracting. As far as technique I did not have any issues and found I could still use my full range of motion. They felt very comfortable on the ground other than the shifting, and did not ride up in the waist. There was some ride up in the legs, but that is to be expected so no lost points there.

Pros-

*Overall Design

*Fit

*Construction

*Color

Cons-

*Some shifting in waist

*Lack of split seam may make them difficult for some

Overall- I can say these are some of my favorite looking shorts I have. They have a very clean look and the colors are vibrant. If they can fix the minor issues with these shorts I think that they could easily go to the top of my list. I would recommend these shorts to anyone looking for a nice pair of comfy shorts that can be either used for training or just lounging around the house in. Now as far as a rating goes I would have to go with a 3.5 stars. They are not quite a four but are better then some of the shorts I have given an overall 3 to.

They also come in black
