Here are some shirts from Intimidation Clothing. A brand that you might not know of, but should. Check out my review on their shirts.

Per manufacturer-

Intimidation Clothing makes clothes for MMA and boxing fans and fighters, inspired by the lifestyle and the attitude of the industry. We’re not afraid to be bold and edgy, and we know that you’re not either. Our goal is to make our products affordable and accessible so that everyone can enjoy them. Looking good and feeling great in our t-shirts won’t set you and your budget back, and that’s a promise we plan to keep.

First Impression- When I first pulled these shirts out I really liked the difference in styles of the shirts. One of them was closer to your Affliction style of shirt, while another was a much more conservative and toned down look. Let see how they stack up.

Construction- The construction of these shirts is great. There is no loose threads and all of the stitching is done very well. They use different types printing on the shirts, some use a , where as others are a discharge style ink for that super soft feel that only a premium shirt has. Intimidation uses a 4.3oz 100% ring spun cotton in their shirts, but recently in some shirts are using a 5.5oz cotton for an ultra premium feel.

Fit- I received three different shirts from them all in a medium size, and while they all fit me there are some differences. The “Authority” t-shirt that they sent me seems to be the one that has the fit which is like most other medium shirts that I wear. The other two shirts are just a little bit smaller. Now one thing that really bothers me about shirts is after you wash them for the first time and they shrink. Intimidation does use different blanks for different shirts, which is something that is pretty normal so I found that there was some shrinkage, but not to all the shirts. The “Authority” t-shirt had zero shrinkage, but the other two shirts there was some, so just read which blank they are using an order accordingly. I am sure that you can always ask them for sizing tips as their customer service is top notch.

Design- Just from my stand point I like most of their designs. They are well done and cover a large amount of styles, so most people should be able to find something that they like. Yeah, there are some in your face styles, but there are also some more subtle styles just depends on what you are into.

Pros-

*Solid construction

*Lots of different styles

Cons-

*Shrinkage in some shirts

Overall- What can I say? Intimidation clothing for the most part makes a great shirt. The construction is excellent and they have some solid designs and styles. Really the only negative that I could find is that some of the shirts shrink and some of them do not. Be sure that if you are in the market for some new t-shirts and want to wear something that you are not going to see every two minutes while walking down the street, check out Intimidation Clothing. I do not think that you are going to be disappointed.

Taking a look at Driven Inc. Read the full review to see if their clothes are worth your cash.

Per Manufacturer-

This life is but a season and when it is over all we have is our legacy, what we have left behind for the greater good of others. It is not what we have but what we do with what we have to inspire, uplift and serve those around us. It is these core values that drive our company.
We at Driven are dedicated to giving you the clothes, gear and accessories to fuel your driven lifestyle. We know that you are driven in your pursuit of your career, sport and passions. Whether it is driving, surfing, saving lives, serving our country, keeping the streets safe or working with those in need, we have the gear for you.

Welcome to the Driven Nation!

First Impression- When I first received this shirts I noticed one thing right away. How soft they feel. You can tell just from the first touch that these are high quality t-shirts.

Construction- The t-shirts from driven are definitely premium level t-shirts. The cotton is extremely soft to the touch and all of the stitching is very well done. They use a 100% ring spun, 30 single blank for the actual shirt. The printing on these shirts is water based ink similar to the shirts from Affliction and Xtreme Couture.

Fit- When it comes to fit I got both of these shirts in a medium. The fit between the two of them was a little bit different. However I find that to be the case with most shirts is that one never fits like another. Its not that big of a deal to me because they are close in fit, but still something to be noted. As far as comparison they are pretty true to size. When washed they do shrink some like most cotton shirts will, but not to the unwearable point. I noticed the most shrinkage in length, but overall shirts stayed very close to its original size. I would classify these shirts as having a normal fit as opposed to a sport or slim fit, so go with your regular size when ordering.

Design- This is always the hardest part for me to review because this is solely based on opinion. Now that I got that out of the way I like Driven’s style. The designs are unique but still do not scream, “I am a fighter and a badass.” However some of the shirts I would still consider to be loud, just not in the, “Fighter” sense. I know some people are thinking, “Don’t scream mma, that ones says ground and pound” and while that is true the majority of people that I run into do not know that term, but know Tapout is for people who train to be “cagefighters.”(Pardon the Joke) Really, overall solid and well done designs that I like.

Pros-

*Premium level t-shirt

*Not in your face design

Cons-

*Designs may not be to your taste

*Shirts vary a little when it comes to sizing

Overall- These are great shirts that I would recommend to anyone looking for a high qualiy shirt that is not on every streetcorner. While there could be some small sizing issues, as long as you go with your usual size you should be fine. These shirts can be purchased anywhere from $25 to $35. The other thing about Driven as a brand is that each one of their shirts have some sort of meaning behind them. Here are some examples of what I am talking about straight from Driven.

Unscarred by Trials Tee:

Everyone has trials in life and when these trials hit, our true character is revealed. During these trials we all have a choice. we can choose to be broken or we can choose to allow the fires of adversity to forge us and make us stronger. Through our Unscarred by Trials Series Driven Inc. will choose a different trial of life to be represented. Driven Inc. will then give a portion of the proceeds of these tee shirts to a charity that deals with that trial. For our first life trial we have chosen the trial of overcoming child abuse in all its forms.

Anger is a Gift Tee:

”Anger is a gift when you use it to stand on higher ground and push against the hand that holds you down.”

All of us go through life and face self doubt, the doubt of others and the discouragement of failure. These experiences are not given to us to feel sorry for our selves and have our souls deflated by. Instead these experiences should inspire and motivate us. We must allow the anger we feel every time we doubt ourselves, others doubt us and every time we fail at something to make us angry enough to do something about it. It is this anger that feeds the voice inside of us. That voice that screams I am better than that. I am better than others know, I am not my failures and I will not quite until all know it.

First Impression- This jacket looked great when I pulled it out of the bag. You could see the quality. I could not wait to try it on.

Construction- This jacket is very well constructed like you would expect from Hayabusa. There was no loose stitching, and all of the logo’s on the jacket are embroidered. There is a zipper down the front which operates very smoothly and like the gear bag there is their falcon logo actually on the zipper. The embroidery on the back is absolutely amazing. All of the Kanji characters are done well, there are also other designs on the back. The jacket is made of 100% cotton and is manufactured in china. There is also a drawstring at the bottom of the jacket so that you can tighten it if you like, plus elastic around not only the waist but also the cuffs of the sleeves. The lining on the inside is comfortable and is red, which complements the jacket well. There is also two pockets on the front which are huge and can carry everything from your wallet to a beanie.

Fit- I was a little bit unsure of the sizing of this jacket so I let Hayabusa know my weight and height and they were able to pick the size they thought would fit me best. They sent me a small which to be honest I thought was going to be way to small. I was wrong. The small actually fit quite well. It was the perfect length with falling slightly around my waist. One thing I did notice is the sleeves were just a little longer than I am use to, but nothing that is annoying or causes a problem. Another thing to mention is that if you have a huge back you might want to order a size up. My back is average for my size and this fit just right, but if your back is big or wide this might be tight on you. While wearing this jacket it kept me nice and warm, but due to the 100% cotton I probably would not wear it in the rain. It is also like the name implies, light weight. For a jacket that kept me as warm as it did I was impressed by how light weight it feels.

Pros-

*Great Construction

*Light Weight

Cons-

*Sizing can be difficult to figure out

*Long sleeves

Overall- Well it comes down to one thing. I really like this jacket. From the first time that I wore it I not only loved it, but got nothing but compliments from others. This jacket does exactly what it is suppose to do. It fits well, keeps me warm, and looks badass. If you are in the market for a new jacket and want something a little different, be sure and check this jacket out. Just keep in mind it is not an all weather jacket. It can be purchased for right around $135.

If you are looking for some new t-shirts? Here I take a look at Milifidel. Read my full review to see what I think about shirts with a cause behind them.

Per Manufacturer-

Milifidel is a unique brand that pays homage to the service and bravery of the U.S. Military, past and present. Forged from the Latin –Militias (Military) and Fidelitas (Loyalty) – it honors the courage and sacrifice that the men and women of our Military have devoted to our country.

This uniquely original design is printed on 36-Single 100% Cotton Tee available sizes S-XXL, each shirt is enzyme wash to achieve that soft feel on everyone of our shirts

You are about to purchase an original piece of art from Milifidel, this garment has been softened & distressed to make each piece distinctive and different than the next. Our garments also feature our unique dyes and washes. Milifidel was created with the mission of paying respect to our US Military. We don’t just talk the talk portions of Milifidel profits are donated to military charities such as the West Los Angeles Fisher House Foundation a veterans non-profit. Milifidel Million Dollar Mission “ Raise 1 Million dollars for the West LA Fisher house one shirt at a time”!

You can feel proud when you purchase you Milifidel because you Pay Homage to country and our freedom!

First Impression- When I pulled these shirts out of envelope I as immediately impressed. I really liked the way they felt and looked. I could not wait to try and them on and see how they fit.

Construction- The construction of these is excellent. There were no loose threads and the shirts themselves are very soft. The shirts are 100% cotton and are a 30 single. The ink on these is great. They used discharge ink which makes so you can not feel the design on the shirt. These feel like a higher quality more expensive t-shirt. They also use special washes and dyes that makes each one of the shirts unique which I think is cool.

Fit- I got a medium in these like I would any other t-shirts and the fit was right on. However I would say that they are a little closer to the slim fit side but not a slim fit t-shirt. They are just the right length and do not have a whole bunch of extra shirt at the bottom which just bunches up and can become uncomfortable. I was a little worried when I saw that they were 100% cotton that they might shrink a little well I pleasantly surprised when they did not. They fit the same as when I first put them on. They are a very comfortable shirt the sleeves go about halfway down the between my shoulder and elbow and neck line is just right.

Design- This is my favorite part about these shirts. They do not scream mma at all. Most of the designs are military themed (with good reason) and are very well done. From what I can tell I got two different models of shirts. What I mean by that is there appears to be different tiers of shirts that range in style. The three different tiers that they have are standard, premium and premium plus. However I have to mention that they use the same shirt in all three levels. The two I received are “meaning” and “mili-solider”. The “mili-solider” shirt is an entry level shirt and while it is still nice, it is not quite as comfortable as the “meaning”. I would rate the “meaning” shirt as being towards the upper end of their shirts.

Overall- I highly recommend these shirts. Milifidel has become one of my new favorite brands. With their innovative style and high quality t-shirts you really can not go wrong. Not only being a great company they do something unlike most brands. Portions of their profits are donated to military charities which I personally think is a great thing. Their shirts range in price from $17.95 to $32.95(for my personal favorite shirt the “Frank the tank” model) and at that price for this kind of quality they really can not be beat. Go out and pick yourself up some Milifidel. Oh and do not forget they have a ladies line too called La-Femme.

Per Manufacture-

*6 oz. 100% Cotton Shirt.

*Preshrunk to minimize shrinkage.

*Printed tags.

First Impression- When I pulled these shirts out of the packaging I liked them a lot. They felt very soft and I could not wait to try them on. I really liked the contrasting colors.

Construction- These shirts are very well constructed. There were no lose threads and the shirts themselves felt very soft. The screen printing on these is very well done but it is screen printed on so you can feel it unlike when water-based inks are used and actually become part of the fabric. They are made of 100% cotton.

Fit- I ordered and a medium in these and they fit perfect. Some things that I always worry about when ordering clothes online is if they fit the first time and will they shrink after the first wash. Well you already know they fit the first time but did they shrink. The answer is no. They fit almost identically to the way they fit the first time. I was very impressed by this. The sleeves are just the right length for being a t-shirt as well as the shirt is not too long. Really enjoy the fit of these shirts.

Design- This is something that is always very opinion related and what can I say about these shirts. I will start with the Gray one. I really like the design but at first I did not even notice the skeleton in the background. I will admit that this shirt is a little loud and that may push some buyers away. Now onto one of my favorite shirts that I own. The blue one called, “Crest.” I love this shirt. The blue is so strong and the white graphic on this shirt goes perfect with it. The only thing that I would add is I would have maybe liked to see some sort of graphic on the back as it is totally blank. Maybe a smaller Wreckage logo.

Overall- My thoughts are these are very nice shirts and they fall right about mid-range at about 21 dollars a shirt. The quality is there and I really think with the amount of different designs Wreckage has most people can find something they like.

A look at Jaco's Brasil Tenacity Hat.

Per Manufacture- This A-Flex® hat features a 6 panel construction. It dawns the Brasil flag on the right and the Brasil coat of arms on the left. The identifiable “tenacity” symbol is embroidered on the front with the full Jaco logo embroidered on the back of the hat.

Construction- This hat is made very well. All of the stitching is top notch with very few loose stitches. It is made of 96% cotton and 4% spandex. It is manufactured in China.

Fit- This hat fits extremely well. I always worry when I buy a hat off the web because you never know how they are going to fit. Well I got a sm/md in this hat and it fits perfect. Plus with having that extra bit of flex you can get a custom fit out of it.

Design- I like the overall design of this hat. There are several other models of this hat that represent other countries. I would have liked to have received the USA one but it has yet to be released so the Brasil one works since I do train Brazilian jiu jitsu it makes the most sense out of the ones they do have out.

Overall- This is a very nice hat. It is well made and has a nice design to it. If your country is represented then I would recommend picking this hat up. The cost is around $25. A side note that it is Brasil in Portuguese and Brazil in English.

An indepth look at Vindication Clothing's T-shirts.

Per Manufacture- What is it that makes an MMA fighter answer the bell when bloodied and exhausted? What is that sense of pride and accomplishment when you have overcome overwhelming odds and proved the naysayers wrong? Through VINDICATION, our goal is to honor and represent those ideals of determination, fortitude and resolve. When you wear our clothing, it says not only, “Yes I Can ! ” but “I will ! ” or better still, ” I DID !”

First Impression- When I first got a look at these shirts I was very impressed. They felt very soft and I could not wait to try them on.

Construction- These shirts feel great. Very soft and and they are made from 100% organic cotton. These shirts feel like one of the upper end shirts. They are made in the USA. A couple other things to mention are they are silicone washed and and side seamed.

Fit- I ordered a medium in these like I don with most of my t-shirts and they fit perfect. Keep in mind that I like my shirts to fit a little tighter and they have that sort of fit to them. They felt very nice while being worn. The sleeves go just beyond mid bicep and the length on them is just beyond the waist. My favorite thing about these shirts is they are preshrunk. I hate when I buy a shirt wear it, wash it, and then when I go to wear it again it does not fit even close to like it did the first time. After washing these shirts they fit almost exactly like the first time I had worn them as there is always a little shrinking with cotton products.

Design- The design of these shirts I think is great. Not tons of death and skulls just a nice look but still looks like the more expensive t-shirts. You can not feel any of the ink printing and the foil on the shirts in nicely done.

Overall- These shirts are great for both casual wear or if you are going out. You could probably even train in these if you wanted to. I definitely recommend these shirts. Pick them up at http://www.vindicationonline.com each one is around $40.

I received both the winter and training versions of Jaco’s new beanies and I must say I like them both.

First the winter version

The feel of this beanie is very nice. It is made out of 100% bamboo and has a nice soft feel to it. It fits just like a normal beanie should and seems like it will be very durable. I have worm this beanie on my morning runs and it is both very comfortable and keeps my head warm. All the logos on it are embroidered. One thing I noticed and really liked about this beanie is the interior liner that it has which provides almost like a double insulation. It also wicks a moisture while keeping my head just the right temperature.

All Weather Beanie

I really like this beanie. At first my thoughts on a beanie that you would wear while training seemed like something I would not like because it would make me too hot but I am glad to say I was wrong. This beanie is very comfortable but it fits more like a skull cap. This one is also 100% bamboo and all the logos are embroidered. It is a very light feeling beanie. I wore it during mostly bag/pad work and lifting weights and it kept my head at the perfect temperature. It also kept it dry by wicking away most of the moisture.

I would definitely recommend both of these beanies. The quality is there and you can use these for either training or casual wear.
